ADVERSE POSSESSION

It has come to our attention of one platform providing titles, as genuine, using the 'Adverse Possession' laws. Adverse Possession is for physical land and Property.  however, it does not cover manorial titles which are incorporeal hereditament titles, although these can be referred to as land. Under the Adverse Possession laws, manorial titles are not classed as a physical object and therefore do not come under those laws.

We sought legal advice before placing this notice. New rights cannot be applied to a manorial title which appears to be dormant and/or the owner lost in time. Someone always owns a title.  The law as it stands today means that anyone who purchases a title as genuine, but has not got all the deeds of holders (in an unbroken chain) going back to its creation has not got a full lordship title.  A Manorial title which is Dormant or where the owner appears to have been lost in time, CANNOT be simply claimed, nor can new rights of the name be applied.  There is no Common Law which says a title can be claimed and taken over without it being conveyed from its rightful owner.  

The only way a dormant title can be used, and this is the name only and NOT the lordship, and after a notice has been placed on public media to the effect of a 'right to claim', is using the Possession Laws under Common Law and the Property Act of 1925.  These are Possessory Titles and give you the legal right to use the Lord of the Manor Title name to which the 'Claim of Possession' relates. It is a bit more complex than that and requires the correct notices and deeds.  I can give you details of where these sort of titles can be purchased. If you are on a budget and would love to have a Lord of the Manor Title or a Feudal Barony Title, then this may be the best option for you as the prices range from £250 to £1,250 and occasionally cheaper than that.
